Parrhesia: A Series of Conversations pairs up people from around the world in discussion. They are chosen because together they can add unique perspectives to complex topics.

A Series of Conversations

These conversations take place online and are then transcribed and edited into scripts. To bring the conversation to life we cast both professional and non-professional actors to read out the scripts in an "audition" setting.

The show explores discourse while drawing a parallel between everyday people sharing knowledge (the conversation) and actors interpreting dialogue (the audition). The setting, props, and coaching are kept to a minimum so the contents of the conversation and the actor’s interpretation remain the key focus.

The ultimate aim of the show is to amplify cross-disciplinary discussion with experimental film.
